The ideal candidate holds an AMI/MACTE qualification with at least 3 years of Montessori preschool experience, strong observation and documentation skills, and excellent communication with parents and staff. On-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• AMI/MACTE certified Montessori teacher required.
• Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years Montessori teaching experience in a preschool.
• Deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and pedagogy.
• Excellent observation and documentation skills.
• Strong communication with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, creativity, and genuine love for children.
• Ability to manage classroom environments with positive guidance.
• Clear criminal record and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Montessori classroom environment (The Prepared Environment).
• Guide and observe children individually and in small groups, presenting Montessori materials.
• Facilitate children's self-directed learning, fostering independence, concentration, and self-discipline.
• Observe and document children's progress, interests, and developmental needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care, adhering to policies.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to promote a cohesive school culture.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training related to Montessori.
• Model respectful interactions and behaviour for the children.
