Placements24 in Randburg is seeking an experienced Lead Mobile Application Developer to guide our mobile team. You will own end-to-end native iOS and Android development, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and design to deliver high-quality mobile apps.

You will drive architecture, performance, and security, implement CI/CD pipelines, and stay ahead of mobile trends. A Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in mobile development with Swift/Obj-C and Kotlin/Java are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in mobile app development with a strong portfolio in iOS and Android.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team of developers.
• Deep knowledge of Swift/Objective-C and Kotlin/Java.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of native iOS and Android applications.
• Mentor and guide a team of mobile developers, fostering best practices and high code quality.
• Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into intuitive mobile experiences.
• Oversee mobile application architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications to streamline the release process.
• Stay current with the latest mobile technologies and champion their adoption where appropriate.
