The role emphasizes reliability, usability, security, and performance across mobile releases. You will lead design, implementation, testing, and deployment while championing MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Jetpack Compose.

Qualifications

• Senior Android engineer who can influence architecture and mentor others.
• Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose, and Android UI guidelines.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Gradle, and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead production-grade Android delivery across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Modernise Android UI delivery using Jetpack Compose and Material Design guidelines.
• Shape modular Android architecture with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Jetpack components.
• Improve engineering quality via Git practices, code reviews, and performance optimisation.
• Strengthen build, release, and CI/CD capabilities for both public and internal apps.
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers and foster collaboration.
