About the Role

Our client, a prominent leader in the mobile technology space, is seeking an experienced Lead Mobile Application Developer with a specialization in iOS development to join their remote team. While the role is fully remote, candidates will ideally be located in or near Sandton, Gauteng , for collaborative networking and occasional on-site events. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative iOS applications, guiding a team of talented mobile developers. This role requires a deep understanding of the iOS ecosystem, a passion for creating exceptional user experiences, and strong leadership skills. You will play a critical role in shaping the direction of our client's mobile strategy and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, performant applications. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of native iOS applications.

Requirements

• Expertise in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
• Deep understanding of the iOS SDK, UIKit, Core Data, and other Apple frameworks.
• Experience with mobile architectures (e.g., MVC, MVVM, VIPER).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and common networking protocols.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for mobile.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and mobile design best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with proximity to Sandton, Gauteng for occasional collaborations.
