Placements24 is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer in Rustenburg, North West. You will lead a team building robust predictive models and end-to-end ML projects, from conception to production, ensuring scalable, reliable systems and strong technical excellence.

You will guide ML engineering, collaborate with data scientists and software engineers, and drive strategic roadmaps to leverage advanced analytics for business value.

Qualificações

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Extensive experience in machine learning engineering with production-ready models.
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and predictive techniques.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with ML Ops tools (MLflow, Kubeflow) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with data processing and warehousing technologies.
• Leadership experience and team guidance abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models for predictive analytics.
• Manage and mentor a team of machine learning engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the end-to-end ML project lifecycle from data exploration to deployment.
• Develop and maintain robust MLOps pipelines for CI/CD and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts to deliver solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices in ML engineering.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of ML systems in production.
• Stay current with advancements in ML, predictive modeling, and MLOps.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap for ML engineering.
