Qualifications

- Minimum 7 years in Language Arts teaching, with at least 3 in leadership or curriculum development.
- Proven track record of improving student literacy and analytical skills.
- Strong curriculum design, assessment frameworks, and educational technology knowledge.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and refine the Language Arts curriculum across grade levels.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Language Arts teachers.
- Develop and deliver dynamic lessons in literature, grammar, composition, and critical analysis.
- Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and provide feedback.
- Design and facilitate extracurricular activities like writing workshops and debates.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate language arts across subjects.
- Stay updated on trends and research in language arts education and pedagogy.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Serve as a contact for parents regarding student performance in Language Arts.
