Triz Engineering Solutions - Lead Industrial Simulation Engineer

Triz Engineering Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Industrial Simulation Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced simulation models for automotive production lines and oversee the transition of engineering designs and data into production.

We are looking for a well-rounded individual with high emotional intelligence (EQ), capable of managing complexity in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a keen eye for detail, positive energy, and a strong desire to excel in their role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of post-graduate experience in developing and implementing simulation models for manufacturing processes, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in simulation software such as Simio; experience with Arena, FlexSim, or AnyLogic is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, production line dynamics, and lean principles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and optimization techniques.
  • Leadership experience in managing simulation projects and teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Willingness to travel overseas as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and validation of complex simulation models for automotive production lines.
  • Delegate tasks to engineering team members and provide technical guidance.
  • Mentor engineers, fostering technical growth and expertise.
  • Collect and analyze production data to ensure accurate simulation parameters.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, developing strategic solutions for process improvements.
  • Interpret simulation results to provide insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with management and engineering teams to align on project goals.
  • Present simulation findings and strategic suggestions to stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance simulation accuracy and production efficiency.
  • Ensure seamless transition of engineering designs and data into production.

Additional Details

  • Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday, with possible overtime.
