Placements24 is seeking a visionary Lead Full Stack Developer to drive the architectural direction of our remote engineering team in South Africa. You will own technical roadmap, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable web applications across a modern stack.

You will lead by example, optimize CI/CD, and collaborate with product and operations to ensure high performance, reliability, and excellent user experiences in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a lead or senior role as a Full Stack Developer.
• Proficiency in frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend languages (Node.js, Python, Java).
• Deep understanding of microservices, APIs, and cloud-native development.
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong remote-team leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and performance optimization.
