We are currently seeking a Building & Engineering Head of Department / Chief Engineer to join our vibrant team at Radisson Red Rosebank, Johannesburg.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the smooth operation of the property maintenance department, maintaining all areas to the highest standards.
2. Proactively improve guest satisfaction and comfort by delivering timely responses to enquiries.
3. Develop and implement plans to achieve property maintenance initiatives and hotel targets.
4. Lead and manage the maintenance team, fostering growth, development, and high performance.
5. Prepare and oversee the departmental budget, controlling costs and inventory, and ensuring productivity.
6. Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
7. Establish and deliver a planned preventative maintenance programme, addressing maintenance, environmental, and conservation matters.
8. Ensure compliance with legislation and best practices, with proper documentation for audits.
