SolarAfrica Energy Pty Ltd is seeking a Financial Modelling Manager to centralise and lead its financial modelling capability, unifying modellers across departments under clear governance. You will mentor the team, develop best practice, and deliver robust project finance, valuation and portfolio models for strategic decision-making, working with senior leadership.

The role reports to the CFO and requires strong commercial insight and a proactive, collaborative leadership style.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years in financial modelling, corporate finance or project finance.
• Experience leading or mentoring financial modelling teams.
• Experience with senior stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
• Desirable exposure to renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field; professional qualification advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Centralise and lead SolarAfrica’s financial modelling capability across departments.
• Mentor and develop the modelling team with clear priorities and governance.
• Lead development and timely delivery of project finance, valuation and portfolio models.
• Establish modelling standards, governance, review controls, QA and ownership.
• Provide senior technical and commercial challenge by testing assumptions and business cases.
• Translate outputs into clear, decision-ready insights for executives.
• Utilise systems, automation and data tools to improve modelling efficiency.
