Our Client, a global tech firm, is seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect Business Analyst to join their team in Cape Town on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive rates and a great working environment.

Analysis, object-oriented design, object-oriented programming and SDLC techniques that a Business Analyst uses to gather and document requirements (existing systems and/or processes) will be based on departmental standards; and the Business Analyst needs to have the ability to assemble, analyse and evaluate data and to be able to make appropriate and well-reasoned recommendations and decisions to support the business stakeholders and the project team.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional analysis.
• Analyse business needs, to help identify business problems and propose solutions, using the discipline of business analysis.
• Provides expertise in the modelling of business processes; conduct as-is/to-be business processes, is instrumental in the business process re-engineering (BPR) and involved in the change management exercise.
• Feasibility studies including analysis around costs.
• Design specifications and improvements, and involvement in project work.
• Extensive project management experience as part of the role.

Qualifications

• A bachelors degree in business administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
• Advanced degrees, such as a Master\'s in Business Administration (MBA) or a master\'s in information systems, can be highly beneficial.
• Experience in business process management, business analysis, or a related field.

Certifications

• Certifications in BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) and related business analysis practices are valuable.
• Certifications in the business side of an enterprise and the ICT function.
• Certifications like Six Sigma or Lean Management can also be advantageous.
