Brief Description
The main purpose of this role is to manage the security architecture domain and landscape, develop reference content, and ensure its application in critical and operational environments are compliant with best practice standards for the company and its customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead Technical Support: Manage technical customer relationships to support the company's service delivery schedules.
- Security Architecture Design and Implementation: Design and deploy robust networking solutions that meet scalability, performance, and security requirements.
- Security Operations: Serve as Tier 3 escalation point for complex security issues and maintain information security management systems and posture.
- Incident Management: Diagnose and resolve performance issues, conduct network analysis, and optimize to ensure service availability.
- Change Management: Scope, plan, ensure governance compliance, and allocate resources for all changes initiated by customers, OEMs, or the company.
- Maintenance and Optimization: Regularly assess network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuous network availability.
- Security Management: Implement and manage network security tools such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Project Management: Lead network-related projects from conception to completion, including planning and resource management.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate with vendors to procure hardware and software solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation and generate reusable intellectual capital, including standards, roadmaps, and deliverables.
- Training: Conduct security awareness and training programs and participate in related events.
- Capacity Planning: Analyze demand trends to ensure infrastructure scalability and performance.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior staff, fostering continuous learning and development.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in security engineering, with 3+ years in a senior role.
- Functional expertise in architecture management, risk analysis, and enterprise or solution architecture.
- Experience with Alexforbes Security Tools (Microsoft Defender, Zscaler, Fortinet, Cisco, Radware, F5, Mimecast).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Cisco CCIE or CCNP certification.
- Fundamentals of enterprise architecture across networking, security, and data centers.
