The Role
Brief Description
The main purpose of this role is to manage the security architecture domain and landscape, develop reference content, and ensure its application in critical and operational environments are compliant with best practices for the company and its customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead Technical Lead: Manage technical customer relationships to support the company's service delivery.
- Security Architecture Design and Implementation: Design and deploy robust networking solutions that meet scalability, performance, and security requirements.
- Security Operations: Serve as Tier 3 escalation point for complex security issues and maintain information security management systems and posture.
- Incident Management: Diagnose performance issues, conduct network analysis, and optimize to ensure service performance and availability.
- Change Management: Scope, plan, ensure governance compliance, and allocate resources for all changes to support and optimize the environment.
- Maintenance and Optimization: Regularly assess network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuous network availability.
- Security Management: Implement and manage network security tools such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Project Management: Lead network-related projects from conception to completion, including planning and resource allocation.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate with vendors for hardware and software solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain documentation for security architectures, configurations, processes, and compliance. Generate reusable intellectual capital like standard work procedures and roadmaps.
- Training: Conduct security awareness and training programs and participate in related events.
- Capacity Planning: Analyze demand trends to ensure infrastructure scalability and performance.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior staff and promote continuous learning within the team.
Skills and Experience
- At least 8 years of experience in security engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior role.
- Expertise in managing architecture, risk analysis, physical security architecture, and enterprise or solution architecture.
- Experience with Alexforbes Security Tools and Technologies, including Microsoft Defender, Intune, Zscaler, Fortinet, Cisco ISE, Radware Cloud, F5, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and Mimecast.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Cisco CCIE or CCNP certification.
- Fundamentals of Enterprise Architecture across networking, security, and data centers.
