Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with significant exposure to oil and gas industry or heavy industrial settings.
• Proven experience in power systems design, distribution, and protection.
• Strong knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety standards (IEC, NEC).
• Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control centers, and instrumentation.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
• Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with national and international safety standards and regulations.
• Manage electrical projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior electrical engineers and technicians.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
