Qualifications

• BEng, BSc or BTech Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years of post-graduate engineering design experience, preferably wiring design and controller integration in the automotive electrical design environment
• Be willing to travel overseas for variable periods depending on the particular needs at that time
• Demonstrated capability in leveraging AI-enabled engineering and digital tools to strengthen electrical design governance, design review effectiveness, engineering data integrity, resource optimisation, and compliance assurance across complex automotive electrical systems and vehicle programmes.

Job Summary

The Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible for leading and strengthening the electrical design function within Triz Engineering Solutions, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused engineering deliverables across commercial vehicle programmes. The role provides technical leadership in automotive electrical systems, including wiring design and controller integration, while overseeing project execution, resource allocation, and team performance. The incumbent drives design governance, conducts internal and customer design reviews, ensures accurate CAD and PDM outputs, and fosters strong customer relationships to deliver projects on time, within scope, and to the highest engineering and compliance standards.
