Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and validation of electrical control systems for complex automated machinery.
• Architect scalable and robust PLC/HMI solutions, including programming, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate closely with mechanical design, software development, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
• Define and enforce electrical design standards, best practices, and documentation requirements.
• Oversee the selection of electrical components, including PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, and safety devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues, providing remote expert support to manufacturing and field service teams.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety features in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 13849, IEC 61508).
• Contribute to the strategic roadmap for control system technologies and automation advancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in electrical controls engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
• Extensive experience with PLC programming platforms (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi) and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation principles, servo systems, robotics, and vision systems.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop engineers.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical).
• Experience with industrial networks and communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP).
