Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Dermatologist and Aesthetic Medicine Specialist for a Randburg clinic in Gauteng. The role requires leadership in a high-end setting, delivering medical and cosmetic dermatology with advanced procedures.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBChB or equivalent) with Dermatology specialization.
• Board certification as a Dermatologist (e.g., FC Derm, MMed Derm or equivalent).
• Registration with the HPCSA or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in clinical dermatology with aesthetic medicine.
• Proven expertise in dermatologic surgery and aesthetic procedures.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical and surgical skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide spectrum of skin conditions, from common dermatoses to complex diseases.
• Perform advanced cosmetic procedures including lasers, peels, injectables, and thread lifts.
• Conduct dermatologic surgeries such as mole removal and skin cancer excisions.
• Lead and mentor dermatologists, registrars, and aesthetic nurses.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure ethical standards.
• Collaborate with other specialists for integrated patient management.
• Contribute to the clinic's reputation through excellent patient outcomes.
• Participate in clinical research and publications.
