Formación

• Medical degree with postgraduate Dermatology qualification.
• Current HPCSA specialist registration in Dermatology.
• 7+ years post-qualification in dermatology, with aesthetic experience.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions (medical and cosmetic).
• Perform medical and surgical dermatology procedures (biopsies, mole removal).
• Provide expert aesthetic consultations and treatments (anti-ageing, skin rejuvenation, injectables).

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions, both acute and chronic.
• Perform medical and surgical dermatological procedures, including biopsies, mole removal, and skin cancer screenings.
• Provide expert consultations and treatments for aesthetic concerns, including anti-aging, skin rejuvenation, and cosmetic injectables.
• Utilize advanced technologies such as lasers, radiofrequency, and other energy-based devices for therapeutic and aesthetic purposes.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, integrating medical and aesthetic approaches.
• Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and advancements in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with medical regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients on skin health, preventative measures, and treatment options.
• Contribute to the clinic's reputation for clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBCh or equivalent) and a postgraduate qualification in Dermatology (e.g., MMed Dermatology, FC (Derm)).
• Current registration as a specialist Dermatologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
• A minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in dermatology, with significant experience in aesthetic medicine.
• Proven expertise in performing a wide array of dermatological procedures, both medical and cosmetic.
• Proficiency in using various aesthetic technologies and devices.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient management skills.
• A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
• Experience in a private practice or high-end clinical setting is essential.
