Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Decentralized Applications (dApps) Developer to guide our development efforts in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, ZA. The role requires mentoring a team, setting technical standards, and delivering end-to-end dApp projects from concept to launch.

You will lead architecture, implement smart contracts, and ensure the security and performance of cutting-edge blockchain solutions for our Crypto & Blockchain initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years in software development, with 3+ years focused on dApps and smart contracts.
• Proficiency in Solidity.
• Experience with dApp development frameworks and tools (e.g., Truffle, Hardhat, Web3.js, Ethers.js).
• Strong understanding of Ethereum, ERC standards, and DeFi concepts.
• Experience with front-end technologies (React, Vue.js) and back-end (Node.js).
• Knowledge of security best practices for smart contracts and dApps.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions for Richards Bay team.
