Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, water systems, and drainage networks.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and environmental impact assessments.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Oversee the construction phase, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to design intent and quality standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, working closely with project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental scientists, and other engineering specialists.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and local building codes, standards, and regulations for projects in Gauteng .

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent professional body membership.
• A minimum of 10 years of comprehensive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
• Proven expertise in hydraulic modeling, geotechnical analysis, and structural design for infrastructure.
• Proficiency with civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley Systems) and project management tools.
• In-depth knowledge of South African infrastructure standards and environmental regulations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex projects in a remote work setting.
• Experience in client liaison and stakeholder engagement.
