Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years in chemical process engineering with 3+ years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Experience with process design packages (Aspen Plus, ChemCAD) and advanced simulations.
• Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Knowledge of process safety management (PSM).
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership to a team of process engineers on multiple projects.
• Oversee lifecycle of chemical processes from design through commissioning and optimization.
• Develop and review process simulations, PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specs.
• Conduct safety reviews, HAZOPs, and risk assessments with mitigations.
• Promote advanced process control and automation to boost efficiency.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Maintenance, and SHE for integration.
• Manage process-related capex to deliver on time and budget.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry practices, technologies, and regulations.
