Job summary

Cytel is seeking an experienced Principal Biostatistician to lead statistical activities across Phase I–IV trials within a sponsor-dedicated role. You will represent Statistics on cross-functional teams, oversee programming and CRO partners, and apply SAS/R for QC and analyses.

You will mentor junior staff and contribute to safety, ISS/ISE, and regulatory inquiries. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in statistics or a related field, with 9+ years of trial experience, strong leadership, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in statistics or related discipline.
9+ years supporting clinical trials in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.
Ability to work independently with initiative and flexible leadership.
Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
SAS programming for QC, efficacy/safety tables and close work with programmers.
Knowledge of R programming (R Shiny/Python).

Responsibilities

Lead statistical activities for Clinical Trials (Phases 1–4) from protocol to results.
Represent Statistics on cross-functional trial teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
Oversee internal programming and CRO contributions on trials.
Contribute to Safety Reporting, ISS/ISE and Health Authority inquiries.
Utilize SAS/R for QC, analyses, modelling and simulations.
Oversight of junior statisticians as required.
