Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in Bioinformatics/Data Science/CS or related quantitative field.
• 7+ years as a Data Scientist with emphasis on biological/genomic data.
• Proven leadership of technical teams and projects.
• Proficiency in Python or R and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and large-scale data processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of ML models for biological data.
• Mentor a team of data scientists and bioinformaticians.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data for complex biological questions.
• Collaborate with biologists, computational biologists, and software engineers to integrate pipelines.
• Ensure quality, reproducibility, and clear communication of results.
