Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software developers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Architect, design, and implement high‑quality, reliable, and efficient embedded software for automotive applications.
• Define software requirements, specifications, and development methodologies in alignment with project goals.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, systems engineers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Ensure adherence to automotive software standards, including AUTOSAR and MISRA C/C++.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Troubleshoot complex software issues and implement effective resolutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in embedded software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role.
• Extensive experience with C/C++ programming languages and embedded systems.
• Proficiency with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and UDS.
• Demonstrated experience with AUTOSAR architecture and configuration.
• Strong understanding of real‑time operating systems (RTOS) for automotive applications.
• Experience with software version control systems (e.g., Git) and build systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a technical team.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles in automotive systems is a plus.
