Position Overview

As our Lead Architect, you'll be instrumental in planning, maintaining, and designing our digital solutions hosted in cloud environments, setting strategic direction for our cloud technologies, and transforming business requirements into effective architectural solutions. You will define our future‑state digital and cloud architectures, ensuring alignment with overall IT strategy and driving innovation through robust solution roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Solutions

• Design and implement cloud architecture aligned with business goals and IT strategies.
• Develop innovative digital architecture solutions in collaboration with business analysts.
• Support and contribute to cloud and digital strategy formulation.
• Ensure project outcomes align with initial cloud architecture designs; actively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues alongside project teams.
• Collaborate closely with vendors, business analysts, and systems analysts to deliver optimal digital and cloud solutions.

Subject Matter Expertise

• Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic consultation on digital and cloud solutions to senior business stakeholders.
• Clarify business requirements and coordinate vendor engagements to ensure robust, efficient solution development.
• Challenge assumptions constructively to ensure high‑quality, innovative solutions.
• Guide vendor selection processes, provide cost‑benefit insights, and validate solutions during evaluations and proof‑of‑concept phases.

Methodology and Quality Assurance

• Participate actively in the Architecture Review Board, ensuring solution quality and architectural integrity.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to streamline and enhance cloud‑based business solutions.

Skills & Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in architecture frameworks: TOGAF, UML, Archimate
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation
• Programming skills in cloud‑centric languages: SQL, XML, Python, Go (others advantageous)
• Deep AWS knowledge (Control Tower, Organizations, Security Hub, IAM, Networking, CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
• Proven experience with mobile development frameworks (iOS, Android, Hybrid)
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (Docker, GitHub, Jenkins)
• Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud computing best practices

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering
• TOGAF Certification (required)
• AWS/Azure certifications (highly advantageous)
