Job description

We’re looking for a results-driven LCS Field Sales Manager with strong technical sales experience in the beverage packaging industry. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of bottling plant solutions and a passion for promoting comprehensive product portfolios to meet strategic sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic growth by identifying and closing new sales opportunities.
  • Promote the full product portfolio including machinery, spare parts, IT solutions, overhauls, SLAs, and more.
  • Proactively grow the customer base and follow up on new leads.
  • Build strong client relationships, prepare quotations, and provide technical sales support.
  • Coordinate internally across departments to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and client data in CRM.
  • Attend customer meetings, project reviews, and conduct product presentations.
  • Travel throughout Southern Africa, with potential international trips.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical).
  • 5+ years technical experience in the beverage packaging industry (preferred).
  • 3+ years in a technical sales role.
  • Strong negotiation and CRM management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Knowledge of relevant product portfolios is advantageous.
