Job description

CLS - Project Manager

To manage LCS Service interventions and ensure customer expectations are met while contributing to the overall financial targets of the LCS Service Business Unit. Drive customer satisfaction by effectively supporting and proactively promoting technical solutions (spare parts, upgrades, and services) that improve customer performance.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain healthy relationships with customers and be the first point of contact for the LCS Service Business.
  2. Maintain professional communication between KSA, KAG, and customers regarding LCS projects (Daily Interventions, Breakdowns, Audits, Overhauls, and Retrofits).
  3. Develop knowledge of available LCS solutions to align with customer needs and requirements.
  4. Work closely with the Sales team and customers during promotion and technical clarification of value-adding activities (audits, retrofits, overhauls, etc.).
  5. Manage projects with customers, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and formal closeout both technically and commercially for stakeholders.
  6. Ensure LCS audit and overhaul reports are received from technicians within a week and are of quality before sharing with customers.
  7. Provide standby support as per the Standby Procedure.
  8. Close breakdown and repair interventions with formal reports including root cause analysis and loop closure.
  9. Manage technical clarification of audit quotations based on technician recommendations.
  10. Plan and scope machine and line overhauls with customer involvement.
  11. Attend customer SPP meetings, address queries related to spare parts, retrofits, service support, and payments.
  12. Manage claims and reclamations with customers post-handover by the New Machine PM.
  13. Oversee costing and financial management of LCS interventions and projects, contributing to business targets.
  14. Document all meetings with formal minutes shared with relevant stakeholders.
  15. Participate actively with the Field Sales team to generate new LCS Service Business, optimize technician utilization, and increase revenue.
  16. Share planned customer visits regularly to facilitate team involvement.
  17. Collaborate with Service Managers and Dispatchers on technician allocation and skills development.
  18. Engage in personal development activities with the line manager.
Qualification and Experience
  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years in Project Management or Project Engineering.
  • Experience in technical sales and customer-facing roles within the packaging or beverage industry.
  • SAP experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Projects/Project.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Advantageous
  • Technical experience in the Packaging or Beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of the Krones portfolio and marketing principles.
  • Diploma in Project Management or PMP certification.
