Position Overview

This position is a part-time assignment (up to 700 minutes per week) teaching Elementary School French. The AISJ Elementary School World Languages uses the American Council on the

Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) National Standards for Foreign Language Learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Elementary / Primary license or certification for teaching languages
● Bachelor or higher in World Language and Cultures
● Bachelor of Education or higher with an emphasis in Language Studies.

Preferred Experience:

● Successful experience teaching French
● Successful experience designing and implementing curriculum using the ACTFL standards
● International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP)

Work Hours: Monday through Friday – 188 (one hundred and eighty-eight) days per school year
