Landlord Relationship Specialist
Contract duration: 12 months
Location: Western Cape
ROLE PURPOSE:
- Manage Landlord relationships end-to-end within the company.
- Cession of Lease Agreements: Obtain consent from landlords for transfer of existing lease agreements.
- Lease Renewals: Manage and renew lease agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Manage strategic and operational property-related projects, negotiations, and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Build and maintain good relationships with landlords aligned with company services.
- Implement the company's service strategy to maximize tenancies and contain costs.
- Ensure timely renewal and renegotiation of leases, focusing on rental reductions.
- Facilitate communication between the company, landlords, and contractors.
- Conduct regular site meetings and updates with landlords.
- Resolve disputes and ensure business continuity.
- Manage ground rent expenses within budget.
- Support site activities and upgrades through coordination with landlords and stakeholders.
- Report on lease statuses and negotiations.
- Collaborate with Landlord Relationship Specialists within the property management team.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.

- Knowledge of town planning environment and geographical mapping.
TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant 3-year Degree or Diploma in Property, Town Planning, Law, or Built Environment.
- Understanding of business principles and property legislation.
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, including negotiation experience.
- Experience with property or telecoms infrastructure (desirable).
