Job description

Our client, a Training and Skills Development Specialist , is looking for a Labour Legal Advisor to join their team in Sandton.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Primarily office-based duties
  • Assist clients with employment law queries via email and telephone by offering clear, structured advice, support, and solutions
  • Draft legal documents, employment contracts and employment-related agreements
  • Manage appointments, maintain the team diary, and coordinate schedules efficiently
  • Attending on-site appointments and representing clients at the CCMA or Bargaining Council
  • Provide day-to-day support to management and colleagues across the labour department
  • Take responsibility for general administrative duties, record-keeping, statistics and report generation
  • Provide training to clients
  • Research, draft and distribute up-to-date circulars and newsletters to internal teams and external clients
  • Assist in delivering the full range of services offered by the company as required from time to time
  • Be available after hours for telephonic queries from clients
  • Contribute to the delivery and promotion of all services, supporting marketing initiatives and assist in positioning our products and solutions to meet client needs

Required qualification and working knowledge :

  • LLB Degree
  • 2 – 3 Years of experience with Employment Law
  • 2+ Years of experience representing clients at the CCMA and / or Bargaining Council
  • Admission as an Attorney or Advocate
