Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance. Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety Standards. Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc. allowed. Some PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.).

We seek a dedicated pharmacist with expertise in packaging and labeling to serve as Label Line Lead and Deputy Responsible Pharmacist. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate labeling and compliance with cGMP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing credible pharmaceutical services for operations management following Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
  • Promoting the company's vision of the 4Is as part of its goals and objectives.
  • Assuming the role of RP when needed, guaranteeing oversight and adherence to SAHPRA, SAPC, DoH regulations, and internal SOPs. Collaborating closely with the RP to ensure compliance across pharmaceutical operations.
  • Working with the RP and Quality team to address and resolve quality-related issues, including customer complaints, client concerns, and internal incidents.
  • Conducting pharmaceutical clinical trial activities safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations.
  • Maintaining pharmacy plans, SOPs, and relevant documentation per regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting internal audits, addressing findings, and closing them timely.
  • Initiating, investigating, and closing CAPAs and Non-Conformances.
  • Monitoring and controlling environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.

Title Line Team Leader Duties:

  • Coordinating the labeling process to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Leading line openings, changeovers, and closures, ensuring procedures are followed.
  • Preparing and managing production schedules for labeling operations.
  • Ensuring timely completion of labeling and packaging tasks by staff.
  • Documenting all labeling activities accurately and submitting records promptly upon batch completion.
  • Performing in-process checks and visual inspections to maintain labeling quality and resolving issues promptly.
  • Training staff on SOPs and labeling procedures.
