Summary:

Position Info:

The primary purpose of the job is to maintain and control all paint/phosphate-related processes, Washbay, and Ovens to specific requisitions. The role requires awareness of metrology environment and CMM measurement.

Key Performance Areas:
  • Check paint quality and perform crosshatch checks
  • Manage chemical stores in the paint shop
  • Log all data accurately
  • Conduct CMM inspections in metrology measurement
  • Order chemicals and ensure correct tests are carried out by suppliers
Responsibilities:
  • Start up and control of degreasing machine
  • Monitor oven temperature and conveyor speed of Gel Oven using appropriate measurement equipment (Squirrel)
  • Set up parts in measurement holding fixtures
  • Start up and shut down of the paint shop
  • Control conveyor speed and oven temperature in the paint shop with correct measuring tools
  • Perform salt spray tests
  • Update and maintain all control charts in their respective areas
