Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?The key purpose of this role is to carry out specialized analysis in support of production teams, problem solving, continuous improvement initiatives and training.Key Roles and Responsibilities : Sampling is carried out as per manualised methodsRelevant apparatus, equipment and reagents are prepared as per manualised methodAnalysis is performed using fundamental laboratory techniques and practicesAccurate results generated, recorded and reported on timeCarry out lab equipment maintained and calibration as per manualized methodsComply to company safety policy and procedure( Hazardous substance, PPE, MSDS, Safety incidents, lab safety rules)Adhere to 5S and Housekeeping schedulesConduct required and requested quality audits, completing the appropriate documentation and communicating the resultsCoach, check, mentor and assist shift based production teams on problem solving and correct use of problem solving techniquesTake part in regional and divisional process optimisation initiatives as requireKey Skills and Competencies : Must be hardworking, Honest and self-motivatedMust be dynamic & a good team PlayerExcellent commitment to Occupational Safety & health, Environmental implications of the jobUnderstanding of process control within a brewing / process environmentAssertive and analyticalKnowledge in computer Excel, Power pointProactiveProven leadership abilityGood understanding of the principles and practices of Manufacturing ExcellenceMinimum Requirements : National Diploma in Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry or equivalentMinimum of 2 years working experience in FMCG industryKnowledge of VPO qualityAdditional Information : SAB / ABInBev is an equal opportunity employer and all appointments will be made in line with SAB / ABInBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.The advert has minimum requirements listed.
