Gijima Holdings: HR is seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee the technical, quality and managerial operations of the Gijima OHEL Laboratory in South Africa. The role requires strong Analytical Chemistry skills, including ICP-OES and FTIR method development, and deep knowledge of implementing and maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 QMS.

The successful candidate will lead staff development, ensure health and safety, uphold the QMS, and manage training programs, budget control, and business development to

Qualificações

• Must have a relevant degree/diploma and more than 5 years of relevant experience.
• Successful completion of ISO/IEC 17025 course with at least 5 years’ experience in QMS implementation.
• Successful completion of SANAS Internal Auditors Course with at least two years’ experience in performing Internal Audits.

Responsabilidades

• Develop Laboratory staff on a technical level and assure competency.
• Monitor and promote Health and Safety in the workplace.
• Ensure QMS is integrated into daily laboratory operations and followed as documented.
