Job description

KZN – covering areas in Vryheid, Midlands and Newlands, Pinetown and Hillcrest.

Excellent opportunity exists with well-established national suppliers of on-trend stationery and gifting consumer products to South Africa's major retail chains and independent stores. We’re looking for a driven, dedicated Sales Representative, ideally with a sales background in the FMCG space, to manage and grow sales in Vryheid, Midlands and Newlands areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the operation of allocated commercial stores
  • Monitor sales growth and ensure alignment with company targets
  • Oversee product ordering, stock control, and display implementation
  • Drive store disciplines in line with standards and procedures
  • Provide exceptional service to retail clients and resolve store-level challenges
  • Liaise with internal departments and provide feedback to the Line Manager
  • Coach, supervise, and support Merchandisers in conjunction with management
  • Ensure full compliance with sales procedures and reporting protocols
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' proven sales experience, preferably in FMCG
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Presentable, professional appearance
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
