KRONOS ADMINISTRATOR
- Ensure the integration of Kronos workflows with the SAGE payroll system.
- Ensure the Kronos system is accessible, data is valid, and ready for payroll processing.
- Set up employee log-on profiles matching their primary roles for users recording shift information.
- Configure time and attendance rules correctly in Kronos.
- Ensure managers update timecards daily.
- Maintain good working relationships with all managers.
- Ensure user competence in system functionality.
- Verify 100% employee reflection on Kronos internal and external systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of all terminals.
- Maintain consistent processes across the solution.
- Possess deep system knowledge for process and system changes, including configuration and permissions.
FUNCTIONAL- Manage Time and Attendance outputs in conjunction with Payroll.
- Oversee Kronos pay-rule overrides.
- Manage user access and conduct annual access audits.
- Implement system improvements for efficiency.
- Participate in Kronos clock maintenance (e.g., biometric issues).
- Maintain technical environment and licensing requirements.
- Set up payroll extract files.
- Resolve leave requests, unapproved overtime, etc., for payroll.
- Track accurate accruals.
- Investigate and resolve integration failures with SAGE exports.
- Maintain reporting metrics.
- Develop and deliver Kronos training.
- Establish access and approval controls based on roles.
- Conduct data validation reviews for controls.
- Maintain the Business Structure in the system.
- Maintain leave and public holiday calendars.
- Monitor rounding rules policy application.
- Manage job or shift allowances.
- Lead projects to optimize workforce utilization.
- Address system faults and implement corrective actions promptly.
OPERATIONAL- Maintain employee job transfer tracking.
- Manage pay code mappings.
- Test system changes thoroughly in preview/test environments.
- Provide user guides and real-time training.
- Audit Kronos against new hires before payroll cut-off.
- Resolve escalated time tracking queries.
- Export end-of-pay reports to SAGE.
- Provide weekly exception reports.
- Troubleshoot clock terminal issues.
- Support clock setup.
- Deploy and test system releases.
- Ensure managers approve and sign off timecards monthly.
- Verify agency hours for billing weekly.
- Escalate incomplete timecards to managers.
