Position: Kitchen Manager
Location: Nuy, Worcester
About Us: Nuy on the hill is a very busy, fast-paced restaurant just outside Worcester.
About the Role: As our Kitchen Manager, you will be the driving force behind our kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, efficient workflows, and a positive team environment. You will be responsible for:

  1. Overseeing daily kitchen operations
  2. Managing and training kitchen staff
  3. Ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
  4. Assisting in controlling food costs and inventory
  5. Assisting in developing and implementing menus
  6. Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
  7. Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service
  8. Working alongside the team in the kitchen preparing and overseeing that dishes are sent out correctly and at a high standard

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent culinary knowledge and skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for food and hospitality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
