Job summary

A local restaurant is looking for kitchen staff to operate dishwashers, clean surfaces, and assist with food preparation. Candidates should have a Food Safety Certificate and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position located on-site with no remote work options available.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• Package take-out food.
• Portion and wrap foods.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
