Qualifications

• Requires a relevant tertiary qualification in Education with Early Childhood/Foundation Phase specialization.
• Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in kindergarten or early years.
• Proven curriculum development or instructional design experience.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood pedagogy and assessment strategies.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver dynamic, play-based kindergarten lessons aligned with the centre's curriculum framework.
• Develop new educational materials, activities, and lesson plans that enhance learning outcomes for young children.
• Assess children's learning and development through observation, documentation, and formal assessments, providing feedback to parents.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to refine and update the kindergarten curriculum regularly.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into the curriculum and daily classroom practice.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
• Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and school activities.
