Position Overview :
We are looking for a results-driven and experienced Key Accounts Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in Rivonia, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in truck sales and proven experience managing key accounts in the commercial vehicle sector.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage relationships with key clients in the truck and commercial vehicle sector
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic account planning and execution
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and expand the client portfolio
- Provide expert advice on truck models, features, pricing, and aftersales services
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in line with company policy
- Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews
- Collaborate with the internal team (finance, logistics, service, etc.) to ensure client satisfaction and timely delivery
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in truck sales or a related commercial vehicle environment
- Strong account management and business development experience
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings
- Strong network within the trucking and logistics industry is advantageous
Preferred Qualifications :
- A diploma or degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience working with major fleet operators or logistics companies
