Key Accounts Manager (TALENT POOL - Gauteng - Randburg) Job Description
To manage and support the key accounts team.
Drive an increase in the average balance of specific portfolio of assets as defined in the Financial Performance Report of the business.
Drive an increase in the average balance of specific portfolio of liabilities (e.g., Call reports, 32 Day Deposits, Fixed Deposits) as defined in the Financial Performance Report of the Business.
Manage costs / expenses within the approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies.
Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external parties to support the sales strategy.
Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices, and provide proactive advice and solutions to stakeholders.
Manage existing clients and grow the portfolio through contact and lead generation.
Provide sales support efficiencies and services to ensure client retention.
Ensure efficient administration through careful planning, reporting, and updating of all related information.
Comply with governance, legislative, and audit requirements.
Enter all qualified leads into the sales pipeline and maintain daily updates.
Track, control, and influence sales activities to increase sales efficiencies.
Develop materials, documentation, templates, guidelines, FAQs, and processes.
Gain a deep understanding of technical trends, market, competition, and identify new entrants in relevant industries (mobile, payments, finance).
Assess opportunities and threats.
Improve business decisions with accurate business intelligence and data analysis.
Manage personal development to enhance competencies.
Plan and manage team performance, skills development, employment equity, talent, and culture to foster innovation, efficiencies, and skill enhancement.
