Job description

A well-established manufacturing company requires the above to manage, maintain and grow a portfolio of personal care and home care manufacturing key accounts supply speciality raw materials within the KwaZulu-Natal region.

POSITION INFO :

Minimum requirements for the role :

  • A minimum matric is essential for this role. Must have a qualification or COSCHEM diploma or related for the role.
  • A diploma / degree in chemistry or COSCHEM diploma or related is essential for the role.
  • Previous key account management experience having worked within the personal care or homecare, or food or related industry is essential for the role.
  • Previous experience having worked on SAP is essential for the role.
  • A market intelligence of the raw material markets within the personal care and homecare industries will be of benefit.
  • Must be a strong team player with the ability to build and foster relationships.
  • Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for :

  • Managing, maintaining and growing a portfolio of personal care and home care manufacturing key accounts supply speciality raw materials within the KwaZulu-Natal region.
  • Providing forecasts and budgets for each customer portfolio.
  • Achieving budget year on year and growing customer base year on year in terms of volume, revenue and margins.
  • Managing a portfolio of key account customers within the personal care and home care manufacturing markets.
  • Handling price negotiations at senior levels.
  • Developing new business working alongside the Product and Technical Managers.
  • Providing new product launches and technical presentations at customer’s.
