Key Accounts Manager

Reference: PTA-Shell-1

We are seeking a Key Accounts Manager for a large gearbox manufacturing company located in the Gauteng region.

Requirements:

  1. Mechanical or technical qualification is essential.
  2. Proven sales track record.
  3. BEng Mechanical Engineering or BSc Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  4. More than 5 years' sales experience in South Africa.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic business development of sales opportunities across industries such as cement, sugar, oil and gas, power, coal, ports & harbours, steel and metals, general industry, and mining and minerals within South Africa.
  • Achieve sales budgets and KPI targets.
  • Manage and expand existing customer relationships through regular visits and networking, aligned with the company's strategic growth plans.
  • Maintain a healthy sales/bid pipeline to meet order intake targets.
  • Active pipeline management following set rules.
  • Keep CRM accounts updated, close dormant accounts, and merge duplicate accounts.

Package & Remuneration:

R 1,000,000 – R 1,500,000 annually plus commission.
