Job description

Create new product lines and grow the business / GP of the business

Learn and apply client classifications

Help and assist customers with making of product, training, providing guidance and problem-solving (factories and butcheries).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with key accounts.
  • Generate new business.
  • Track and report on sales performance.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Work with other departments to ensure that customer needs are met.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in managing key account customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications:

  • BSc Food Science or any other food-related qualification.
  • MBA – advantageous.
  • 5 -10 years experience in sales within a food manufacturing environment / FMCG.
  • 5 – 10 years of Commercial experience.
  • 5 – 10 years of Butchery Operations knowledge / experience.
  • Butchery equipment knowledge / experience – advantageous.
  • 5 – 10 years of Meat processing experience.
