Job description
Create new product lines and grow the business / GP of the business
Learn and apply client classifications
Help and assist customers with making of product, training, providing guidance and problem-solving (factories and butcheries).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with key accounts.
- Generate new business.
- Track and report on sales performance.
- Develop and implement sales strategies.
- Work with other departments to ensure that customer needs are met.
Key Skills:
- Experience in managing key account customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Qualifications:
- BSc Food Science or any other food-related qualification.
- MBA – advantageous.
- 5 -10 years experience in sales within a food manufacturing environment / FMCG.
- 5 – 10 years of Commercial experience.
- 5 – 10 years of Butchery Operations knowledge / experience.
- Butchery equipment knowledge / experience – advantageous.
- 5 – 10 years of Meat processing experience.
