Job Title: Key Accounts Manager
Job Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg | Deadline: August 16, 2025
Reporting: This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager North.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and drive volume, market share, and gross profit on selected "Direct Sale" classified customers.
- Achieve objectives set by Line managers, including volume targets, gross profit, soft offer penetration, and budget targets.
- Implement efficient sales and order execution processes according to practices set by the Direct Sales department.
- Plan and execute customer activities, leveraging possible synergies within the region.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Recalculate and follow up on deviations between real costs and planned costs.
- Monitor market situations in relevant transport segments (e.g., Fleet segment) for strategic sales planning.
- Contribute to market activities supporting and developing direct sales.
- Monitor competition in relevant segments and provide input for product adaptations and new solutions.
- Coordinate trade-in and buy-back offers with Used Truck Sales.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through personal relations, customer activities, and coordination with authorized Volvo dealers.
- Adhere to legislation, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational and/or training qualifications relevant to the role.
- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business Administration, Marketing, etc.) – advantageous.
- Industry-specific development program.
- Preferred experience, technical skills, and knowledge:
- 8 years of commercial truck sales experience.
- Experience in sales, retail, or business development roles.
