Job description

Why this job matters: The role holder is responsible for planning and delivering substantial sales growth.

Responsible for client engagement relating to existing and new business, including client satisfaction.

The role holder is expected to deliver growth with new sales covering existing accounts, focusing on incremental sales margin (ICGM) & revenue, driving value activities, and pipeline growth.

What I'll be doing – your accountabilities:

  1. Plan and deliver strong sales growth across the global GS portfolio, including industry propositions.
  2. Keep sales records current and accurate in Salesforce.
  3. Actively manage senior client relationships to ensure long-term profitable and growing business, with high customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the organization to deliver profitable sales.
  4. Plan and deliver new and substantial sales growth in your accounts.
  5. Lead interface with clients for sales opportunities, focusing on the OT space.
  6. Define account plans, identify whitespace opportunities, and sell profitable GS solutions.
  7. Manage customer relationships and ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction.
  8. Generate revenue and achieve ICGM targets in the account.

Skills required:

  • Mandatory: Mining industry experience, proficiency in Network Architecture & Project Management, understanding of Mining Health and Safety, Contractors pack, and compliance with regulators for Private LTE / 5G solutions.
  • Customer relationship management up to C-level.
  • Strong sales background: pipeline building, opportunity qualification, deal management, business case creation, closing, and handover.
  • Excellent influencing and commercial skills.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment with virtual global teams.
  • Minimum 10+ years in relationship management and direct sales, with a proven track record at senior levels.
  • Experience in delivering/exceeding sales targets in major enterprise accounts.
  • Ability to develop and execute account plans.
  • Creative problem-solving across geographies and cultures (preferred).

Additional knowledge areas include OT infrastructure, networking, telecommunications, project management, and related technologies.
