Introduction: Top Company in Sandton is seeking an experienced Key Accounts Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers to foster trust and loyalty.
  2. Retain and expand the customer base by achieving and maximizing sales, profitability, and growth targets.
  3. Investigate, track, and resolve customer concerns, identifying trends and implementing effective solutions.
  4. Deliver informative presentations of products and ranges to clients, showcasing their value and benefits.
  5. Analyse sales data to identify weak areas and develop strategic plans to address them, setting clear goals for improvement.
  6. Develop key account sales plans for assigned accounts, aligning strategies with customer needs and growth targets.
  7. Stay abreast of the retail industry landscape and competitor activity to inform decision-making and strategy.
  8. Profile customer requirements and coordinate internally to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  9. Establish and strengthen customer satisfaction, with a strong focus on maximizing profitability across the customer base.
  10. Demonstrate a deep understanding of customers' businesses and offer value propositions in line with growth targets.
  11. Analyse actual sales performance compared to budgets and targets, implementing contingency plans as needed.
  12. Conduct regular meetings with buyers and clients to review sales performance, address concerns, and foster collaboration.
  13. Achieve sales targets through proactive sales efforts and effective relationship management.
  14. Liaise closely with internal teams to fulfill urgent orders and communicate customer requirements effectively.
  15. Utilize promotional planning and analysis skills to drive impactful marketing initiatives.
  16. Take ultimate responsibility for the sell-out of products to end-users, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  17. Proactively manage stock levels to prevent aged stock and optimize profitability.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • At least 3 to 5 years in Key Accounts and/or Sales management.
  • The successful candidate must have sales experience, preferably in the hardware, electrical, or lighting industry, specifying products and overseeing projects from start to finish.
  • Valid Driver's Licence (Own vehicle required).
  • Extensive experience in customer relationship management.
  • Excellent MS Excel and analytical skills.
Package & Remuneration
