Key Account Manager - Retail Focused

KAM who has experience within the FMCG industry required at very stable Food Manufacturer. The incumbent will be responsible for driving the growth of retail and deliver the brand and business objectives for an agreed territory / group of customers – using his / her people, customer contacts and financial resources to enable delivery of such whilst protecting the interests of the company – financially, ethically and creating a sustainable future through relationships, brand-protection and process development. POSITION INFO : Responsibilities :

1. Use all resources available to deliver budget and create a sustainable business.
2. Track category performance and market share to identify opportunities and threats and develop plans accordingly.
3. Develop, negotiate and track retail-specific promotional activities.
4. Download and clean-up of EPOS data for various retailers and maintaining the integrity of the EPOS database.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
6. Deliver service to key customers to the level that is expected from leading brands to ensure we maintain the company’s strong position in market.
7. Manage all elements of customer management in the key customers.
8. Manage all administration required for the customers and service providers within the portfolio efficiently and effectively.
9. Work with 3rd party sales and merchandising team to ensure shelf excellence.
10. Use retailer reports like Site Days Cover and Gap analysis to manage shelf health.
11. Conduct regular trade visits to required regions to ensure optimal shelf execution and to stay up to date with competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements :

1. FMCG experience with a minimum of 5 years in key account management
2. Strong analytical ability
3. PowerBI experience is beneficial
