Job summary

A global trade company in South Africa is seeking a sales professional to ensure consistent sales growth in the assigned territory. Job Function

To ensure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in assigned territory by identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business. This position is a fixed term contract for 6 months. There are positions open in KZN, PE, and CPT.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Execute own work according to set operating procedures service level agreements.
  • Execute work in line with governance and compliance processes.
  • Provide continuous feedback on task delivery to support decision making.
  • Plan and organise own tasks to make sure that performance targets are met and standard operating procedures are adhered to.
  • Attend learning initiatives to improve work quality and enhance own skills.
  • Own and live up to the company values.
  • Execute work activities effectively and efficiently in order to maximise financial performance.
  • Deliver work activities according to set standards in order to satisfy customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities for growth and motivate these through compelling business cases with measurable and clear value.
  • Deliver on agreed revenue driving projects and initiatives.
  • Work closely with key cross divisional teams to deliver great client service, working with strategic clients and partners.
  • Communicate and present our strengths with current and potential clients and partners to drive increased levels of partnership and gain additional platforms.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent 3-year degree (NQF Level 7).

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Must have sales experience.
  • 2+ Years of Key Account Management and Sales Management in the Lube Chemical and Heavy Industrial material area.
  • Experience in cold calling on potential clients, actively seeking new clients for the Industrial Warehouse and Distribution cluster.
