TITLE

Key Account Manager (Enterprise Fleet) - Port Elizabeth

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Personally sells company's products and/or services to retailers, industrial customers, institutions etc., by visits and obtaining orders, but selling process requires high level of product application knowledge. Responsible for meeting a specific sales budget or target. Knowledge of both product features and salesmanship important. May report to District, Regional or National Sales Manager.

JOB PURPOSE

  1. To build & create sustainable, profitable market volume and value growth from the sector thereby driving brand equity growth in the business.
  2. Implementation, monitoring & management of the Sector Key Accounts by driving visibility on demand from key facilities.
  3. Responsible for Individual Sales Revenue Target in the Sector Portfolio.
  4. Holistic Key Account Management linking Netstar products, solutions and services to the needs and requirements of our customers & stakeholders within the Sector.
  5. To Sell solutions to existing and new clients in the sector and achieve sales units and revenue targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Account Management

  1. Achieving sales revenue targets in the Sector in alignment with the annual Sales plan established in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
  2. Bring visibility on & drive predictability of orders within the Sector Value Chain.
  3. Manage related activities in order to secure additional business from institutions within the portfolio.
  4. Utilizing available data sets to guide purchasing behavior and leverage of opportunities.
  5. Serve as a vital link between Netstar Products, Services, Solutions and our Sector Stakeholders.
  6. Identify opportunities and drive plans to take advantage of market opportunities in the Sector.
  7. Guide and provide valuable inputs to our Product development and align our offering to the needs of the Sector.
  8. Contribute segment specific input to the Product & Services roadmap to ensure the segment needs are represented and competitive threats within the segment are also addressed, both in content and schedule.
  9. Communicate, present and influence stakeholders in the Sector.
  10. Consider local conditions, as well as competitor activity to create competitive advantage.
  11. Coordinating visits to existing and potential clients.
  12. Compiling and executing short- and mid-term sales plans in preparation to achieve the desired annual sales objectives.
  13. Maintaining a current and healthy pipeline to ensure monthly sales objectives are met.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales and Account Management

  1. Develop and execute sales strategy through market analysis of the Sector.
  2. Align operational targets to business strategy.
  3. Collaborating with senior management to establish and execute a sales goal for the sector.
  4. Analyze segment trends and needs.
  5. Provide strong Customer relationship management support and ensure customer retention in Key Accounts.
  6. Actively participate in operational governance processes as required.
  7. Identify and exploit new opportunities to grow the business further.
  8. Develop and drive the execution of Sales projects.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Educational Qualifications:

  1. Business Management degree or equivalent qualification.
  2. Management/Leadership program - desirable.

Years of Experience:

  1. At least 5+ years as a Key Account Manager servicing the Sector.
  2. At least 2+ years in the Vehicle Tracking/Telematics/ICT/IoT Sales to the Sector.
